Oh, baby!! Some of the BEST donuts ever, and I've lived all over the country. Consistent quality and good service. I don't have them as often as I'd like, otherwise a forklift would be necessary to get me out of bed every morning.

I think these donuts are pretty solid. They are not overly greasy or sweet. They ARE Indiana, donuts, though, so don't expect very bold flavors. But for chocolate iced or glazed donuts, this is a pretty good stop. The peanut covered donuts have a nice consistency.

I cheered my sister on in a 5K while I ate Jack's donuts this weekend! Am I a sweet sister or what? I'm glad I don't live super close to a Jack's (okay... kind of a lie. I live in Noblesville with a Jack's in Fishers but can you believe I have never been there?) because I am sure this would become a very unhealthy diet staple. We got a box full of unhealthy donut delights ranging from a standard glazed to the infamous applesauce donut to my favorite, some kind of caramel glazed monstrosity with crushed pecans on top. I could only bring myself to eat the caramel one but my heart yearned for more! Alas, I will have to try the Fishers location soon so I can get down on one of the applesauce donuts. My cousins scooped those bad boys up as soon as the box hit the counter. A lovely breakfast treat to eat on my aunt's porch will cheering on my sis in that 5K!

One word, consistent! I have been eating Jack's Donuts since I was a child. I have had donuts from all over the country and swear they are the best. I live in foodie nirvana Portland Oregon and yes I do frequent Voo Doo Donuts and have been to the new trendy donut shop Blue Star but, they really do not hold a candle to Jack's! When I return to New Castle Jack's is the #1 place on my list to visit. The chocolate twist are amazing and always has been! The best part, I bought a t shirt and when I unpacked everything smelled like Jack's Donuts!

"Jack's Donuts.... Jack's Donuts, you gotta try Jack's Donuts" I kept hearing this from everyone in this town! I love donuts so of course I had to check it out. I was surprised how large the place was, especially for New Castle which doesn't really have a whole lot... Let's be honest! They have a new dining area that you can sit and hang out. A family owned business for over 50 years. You can tell the current generation is bringing a hip, cool factor to the place, which is especially cool for Small Town USA. Open till 1am on weekends. Lots of interesting donuts that you don't see in every donut shop. Donuts were good. Not the best I've ever had but considering the small town and limited choices, I see why everyone thinks they are SO great. All donuts are 90 cents which is actually more than most places in CA. I know some of the old-timers in town say they stopped going to Jack's because 'they keep raising the prices'!! That made me laugh. Worth a stop!

I was passing through New Castle today and heard about Jack's Donuts so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I'm a sucker for a moist donut with flavorful toppings, and Jack's Donuts are just that. I didn't make it there until around 4 pm, and my donut was still good-- nice and soft. :) Jack's kind of seems like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, but don't let that fool you! There is a wide variety of flavors and kinds of donuts, and the ones that I tried were all good. Just a head's up though-- it says on here that they accept credit cards, but they are cash only! I made that mistake and had to go to an ATM down the road.

5 donuts = $5.35. Other than a gob of sugar, a donut contains flour and an eensy bit of other ordinary baking stuff. All in, making a donut probably costs 5 cents. Typical donut = 300 calories. Nutritional value = 0. Donuts are the perfect American food, made more perfect (deadly) by a slather of frosting and sprinkles. Pursuant to word of mouth, my lady friend was all het up to go. From long experience, I do not trust word of mouth in Hoosierland - consider the mouths. We arrived at the Fishers Jack's at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Mostly sold out. Good planning back in the donut factory area. "Another batch will be out in a while." We asked what was the best time to arrive for a full selection. "About 8:30 a.m." Knowing this, would you not have the next batch ready by...what?... 9:30 a.m.? A creepy, dour old dude wearing a Jack's T-shirt behind the counter watched over the help and customers like a turkey buzzard eyeing the death throes of a roadkill. The franchise owner or the janitor? We waited to pay while three employees repaired the jammed receipt excreter so that the couple ahead of us could obtain a receipt (why? - tax purposes? possible return of defective donuts?). We paid and eschewed a receipt. In the case, the donuts not labeled, so choosing is a crap shoot unless you ask the kid behind the counter. How many times a day could you stand describing a donut? "Those are pumpkin with a hint of allspice and tamarind extract, hand blended by our highly trained, dandruffy, gum chewing, 15 year old donut apprentice, and coated with a sugar glaze in case the sugar content of the donut is insufficient to send you into a diabetic coma." There were no prices posted, either. Subtle scam. My lady friend who is slim and fit ate three and is now buzzing around the house like a wayward firecracker. I ate one bite of Mr. Pumpkin sugar-bomb and would have spat it out, but we were in her car. I would not feed these donuts to my dog, much less to my children.

I have been here 5 years and I try these every once in a while to see if they get better. No I think they get worse. I really do not like them. I find them very heavy. They just do not seem like what a donut should be like to me.

Best. Donuts. Ever!!!!!!!!!!!! I grew up on these and can't stand any other donut because these are the best and nothing else compares to Jack's. I love that they are open late now!!! I'd give them a million stars instead of 5 if I could.

Went back, and they've done it again! Jack's is now open in the evenings from 6-11pm everyday (they are also open in the morning, but I dunno exact times). I'm eating a glazed chocolate twist as I write this!

The best donuts in the world, plain and simple. You can't go wrong with any donut that you order! The employees are friendly and the hours they are open makes it easy to get a donut any time you want! I grew up eating these and think they are better than ever! Great job, Lee! Keep up the good work!

I'm not a fan. There is a lot of locals that swear by them. But I'm from the south and I grew up on Krispy Kreme. I love Krispy Kreme donuts their light and fluffy and melt in your mouth. Eating Jack's to me is like eating a dough ball. It lingers in your stomach. Just don't taste like donuts should to me. Put I would say give them a try and decide for yourself. Everyones taste is different.

Absolutely scrumptious donuts! I grew up on these donuts and any time I go back to New Castle, Jack's is a must stop - and it's easy to do that because they are open until ridiculously late (maybe 1 am), which is more than most donut shops can say. I am so glad that Greenfield will soon be getting a Jack's Donuts because I will be able to visit them more often.
